My Passion for Healthcare

I felt I wanted to be a doctor during high school because I had an outstanding anatomy class where we discovered the wonders of the human body. This was followed by having brilliant and inspirational mentors in both general surgery and pediatric surgery during my schooling and subsequent training that helped me gravitate toward pediatric surgery. Pediatric surgery combines the awe and fascination of surgery with the opportunity to make a difference in the lives of kids and their families.
